Audi A3 advice

Guys I am looking for a bit of advice, wifes car is up for renewal. As the name goes I have a 911 so I need something practical, but not to big & as she is a 80's girl she is hung up on the BMW/ect badge thing, so I was thinking a A3 sportsback S-line 2.0TDI.

Does anyone have one? if so what do you think of it, any suggested extras that are must?

And yes I have tried to get her in a A4 but "it's to big".

my mother had pne till a few weeks ago, when some absolute c**t pu tthrough my back door and stole the keys and took the car!!!
they really are a nice car, quite quick for a diesel, try and find one with leather seats though because fabric ones arent too comftarble.
