Have you had any problems with your 9-5?

i've had quite a few with mine and i've just been arguing with Saab for the last few weeks.

I'm considering getting rid of it, but it's such a good car regardless of all the problems.

Only just spotted this...

The only problem I've had is the battery died during the cold snap the other week - but that's not the car's fault.

My gearbox has difficulty getting into reverse at times, and reading the posts on saabscene.co.uk, it appears to be a common but expensive to fix problem.

I get my Saab back today or tomorrow, just having a new gearbox fitted after 56,000 miles. I had an argument with Saab saying that i'd been a customer for the last 30 years and that the gearbox shouldn't go at such little mileage. I ended up with 45% off.

At the moment deliberating whether or not to get a new car because my warranty has expired. I don't really want a manual because it's annoying for town driving. I was looking at a Cupra.

Do you have the manual or the automatic gearbox on your car?
