I bought this a couple of weeks ago

My first proper pictures, freshy washed and given the once over with the clay bar

I bought it as a temporary car for 12 months or so, but I'm falling in love with it

They are excellent cars - the head gasket went on mine over a year ago and I haven't been able to fix it yet, but I still can't bear to sell it!

Ah..memories. I had one of these. A real point and shoot car. Nightmare to drive around town with it's abrupt throttle switch and heavy clutch..but hey it's meant for the open road.

Watch out for valve guide wear, clutch/bulkhead bracket breakage and the best one is the weak seats that can break at some point during acceleration and leave you lying on your back!

Thoroughly recommended!

They vary in quality as much as they do in price - you can get a banger for £500 or a mint unmolested low mileage one like mine will set you back more like £2500.

Ah good good, was hoping it would be a good choice. I'm looking to spend about £1600 on one as i have seen some mint ones for less and some for more. Cant wait!
