It belongs to a friend of mine who runs a property development company. Its his second Ferrari having previously had a F355 Berlinetta.

why one earth did he sell a 355 berlinetta for a 360??

nice though the 360 looks, the 355 is by far the nicer looking car truly gorgeous!

He didn't. He went from the 355 to a Porsche 996 C2, to a BMW X5, to a Porsche Cayenne and finally to the 360.

I hear a lot about property developers making lots and lots of money but what kind of margin are these super sucessful ones working on. Are they simply buying a property, then project managing its development into a more desirable property then shifting it on and moving onto another property. Or are they literally buying unused buildings and developing that into a complex of 60 or so flats through their own company. Where is the line between property developer and someone like Barrat or Bellway homes.

He builds high spec houses, buys houses and rents them out, buys business premises and rents them out, etc etc. I think his bread and butter is building bespoke homes for successful people.
