Really not sure why i've never registered on here before! Been aware of the site for years, and looked through it lots :/

Anyway....

Here are my current cars....

our impreza

my wee track corsa. 2.1 16v etc etc

My girlfriends trackcar.... 1.9 GTi, still getting built, but nearing the stage where it can be used

My daily is a 94 RangeRover V8, nice tow car, if a little thirsty.

In love with the scoob's mate. Looks devilish.

Must be nice when your girl enjoys racing too.

Seconded. Also, are you having a 'moment' in the Corsa?

Hi there

Nice impreza

What is the Corsa like to drive? HP? I am guessing 170-180?

Love the scoob

Can I ask why the Corsa has different front and rear wheels?

i had two duff tyres on the front..... my spare wheels didnt fit over the hubs, and its quite had to find 15's to fit over the front 300mm discs. So they rears where just a quick fix that hasnt been quickly fixed.... kinda like em now

I like that Corsa a lot. Always been interested in them as my first car was a 1995 1.4 that looked exactly like yours. There was a similar car with the 2.0 engine out of the normally aspirated VX220 IIRC at a Donington track day last year. How does the car feel then with that much power and do you have any more details on the spec.
Good collection there

Stupid question, but its been bugging me so I'm going to have to ask.

Why is the road closed behind the Scooby in the third picture? The rear os the car obscures the rest of the car...

I've only had the car on 1 trackday in its current spec.... A wet knockhill with road tyres LOL .... The suspension needs re-thought in my opinion too. Dont rate AVO too well now Rear brake bias could do with a tweak too :/

Spec...

Vaux C20XE, bored out to 88mm to make about 2080cc
88mm SBD forged, pocketed pistons
standard con rods with ARP bolts
lightened, balanced crank
Coscat head, with porting work etc by powerzone
SBD valve springs
SBD valve caps n seats
SBD 284 cams
verniers
SBD TypeC exhaust manifold, primaries welded, ceramic coated with extra sensor boss.
2.5" exhaust from manifold back
ARP head studs
Cometic metal head gasket
QED direct to head throttle bodies, fuel rail and dis pack
Uprated FPR and injectors
DTAfast ECU and loom
Lightened 'let' flywheel with uprated 'let' clutch
F20 close ratio gearbox with Tran-X plate diff
Uprated M-Tech shafts, mounts and hubs
6pt Weichers cage
lightweight 15" alloys (5.5kg)
300mm discs with 4 pots up front
AVO coilovers

er.....

prob some more that i've forgotten, but here are some more piccys

and the only vid i have of it so far... taken by a friend whilst going down the straight at knockhill. Just before that spin above i think :/

Its an entrance to the port i think, or just waste land. Never seen it open, just think the sign is there because it's an exit from a round-a-bout.

Hi Adam

I used to work down at a horrible big building in Leith and walked past your scoob everyday. I didn't realise you also had that mental corsa!
