At the end of December last year I decided that public transport sucks a$$ and its time to buy a car.

Im a big fella and need something with a bit of space and being somewhat of a keen driver I desired something with a bit of ooomph and oodles of class and build quality so I started hunting down BM's

I bought myself a cracking 1992 730iSE in one of the best colours; Calypo Red Metallic.

It doesnt have leather, but when cash permits me too, I will remedy this.
It came with an ill fitting, unbranded stereo which I got shut of and bought a nice Clarion Santa Cruz CD32, silver so it matches my interior decor

I love nothing more than big classy motors and eventually I want to put some money into "Olly" (named after my fiancee') and bring her upto scratch and one of the things I cant bloody decide on is......

Which wheels & how big??

I was thinking about the E60 7 spoke on 18" which I have seen on a 5 series which looked rather smooth, but Ive photoshopped (poorly) a photo of my BM and they dont seem to suit

Heres the wheels in question

And heres what they would look like on my car

Whats your views or opinions?

I've always thought that these wheels from the E39 5-series would suit the E32 7 without being "bling"

That looks awful mate, its probably worth trying to get upgraded wheels from around the time your Beemer was in production.

.....less classy, more council estate to tell you the truth

How about a nice set of Alpina wheels? The design seems to fit well with all types of BM new or old.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing....Alpina wheels are probably the way to go then

I like the original wheels though, but with the profile of the tyres cornering can be a bit tricky
