206 GTi question
Discussion
These cars have a multitude of faults.
Im not being bitchy either.
A well known problem amongst Peugeot dealers is the intake manifold, its made of plastic, and occasionaly gets a backfire which blows a bloody great hole in it.
Is yours a new car? Still under warranty?
Also as someone else mentioned, the discs do warp with regular monotony, but also on most of the other range of peugeot too.
Make sure that its had the latest "downloaded ecu" (done by the dealer at PDI) the factory lets them go out with the faulty maps still in place!.

The ABS on my 306 is a bit on the overactive side, particularly on very bumpy roads, but you'd know if it was that (by the judder through the pedal).
My brother bought a 306 GTi-6 about 18 months ago which was only 12 months old, but already had warped discs, so I guess it may be a common problem on GTis.
Never suffered from it myself, despite getting excessive brake fade very rapidly. The joys of spam-chariotism
