Nice mods. How much were the wheels?
How are you finding the S55? I recently moved into an F80 (pre OPF). I did look at the M2 Comp but I needed the extra space.

It’s a very “meaty” car with huge mid-range torque. A short wheel base makes it quite snappy on a greasy circuit! The Milltek exhaust has given the car some voice. Overall, I’m very happy with the results thus far. The only thing I miss is greater steering feel.

I find this the most interesting M car they make outside of the M3 Touring. What was your rationale for picking one of these to track rather than something more traditional/cheaper?
I have two Mazda MX5s which cover me for most of my track days but I wanted something with more power and, perhaps more importantly, torque for longer circuits with gradient such as the Nurburgring and Spa. I also want to be able to drive to and from these circuits in relative comfort. CKY said:
Lovely looking car Benny - interesting choosing someone like Lichfield vs following the crowd and flocking to someone like Schirmer, do you have more road driving in mind or other reasons for going with Lichfield?
I went with Litchfield because of their comprehensive BMW M2 Comp upgrades package and the fact that two friends have already had their cars (a Porsche Carrera T and Toyota Yaris GR respectively) tuned by them and reported good things.thelostboy said:
Looks the business!
Whats the ride quality like on the Nitrons?
Honestly, the ride is quite stiff and choppy on the road but it felt great on-track. Directional changes are far sharper now. The car has been set up for fast road and bumpy circuit but it's probably a little too focused for track work. I might soften it up a smidge. Whats the ride quality like on the Nitrons?
