Recently been through an array of cars, BMW e91 325i, Range Rover Sport 3.6 TDV8, 2014 Astra VXR all within the last month or 2 trying to find something to settle on.
I've had a few brief spells with UK WRX's but they always need with getting a good offer and being sold on, I yearned for another one. That brings me to this I was offered a swap for my Astra on it, nobody really new what it was. Other than it being a very clean JDM WRX originally brought in by Hurst Cars in Bedford in 2020/21. A bit more digging reveals its had some nice work completed whilst at Hurst, this including a brand new thick wall STI engine.
Spec
2004 WRX
91k km
Built thick wall STI 2.0 comprising of RCM Headgaskets etc.
Brand new TD05 Turbo
STI top mount
Fujitsubo Exhaust
Pivot boost gauge
Zerosport Spoiler
STI twisted skirts
Sti winglets and fog covers
Still has all the cats in it. Running standard 0.9 bar boost.
I bought it needing a wing and a repair to the bumper again was prepared to take this one for an exceptionally clean shell I work for a bodyshop so this sort of works easy enough sorted, currently waiting on a new wing from Subaru to get this complete.
Plans are to sort the front end, coilovers, new exhaust, wheels as they're ghastly, STI interior, 6 speed box and start looking some power but most of all just keep it clean.

2004 WRX owner here (UK model)
I'll be watching this topic with interest - look forward to some interior pics along with epic hound content. Your Dog is lovely and his paws are bigger than my hands lol.
The wheels are indeed not very well suited to the car, but UK spec 17 inch alloys are cheap enough if that's your bag. I grabbed a set for £100 locally and stuck some winters on them.
I've not seen that type of spoiler very often, is that a JDM thing?. I've always said Imprezas look good in white, and yours is no exception. Stunning motor.

Interior at the minute is very bland black WRX seats but they are definitely narrow and made for skinny Jap men not us stocky Scots. The pups gunna be big rescued his mother found out she was pregnant that story goes haha, she was 36kg to expecting the same for him, he is epic though. Picked up a set of Rota 18" today for it just need to refurb them at work when it's in getting a few bits and bobs d9ne (I'm a fussy bugger), it came I to the country with the 16s on but has spent a year or so off the road and speaking to the owner who had it previous he wasn't really interested in it. Definitely a JDM thing the spoiler is it suits it though and a rare item so it'll stay put for the time being was going to go down the STI spoiler route but everyone's doing that. Have some plans for it for next year's show season.
Here's my previous 2 as you'll see from the blue one I like Rare Impreza items it had a full Lister package

Very nice indeed. you have great taste in cars ,matey.
Couple of real beauties there.
Are you gonna keep this one for a while?. They are fetching good money just now andI think the trend will continue upwards over time, for good ones at least.
The hound is a handsome fella by far.

Had a bit of an eclectic collection of cars everything from a Nissan Stagea to mk3 Golf Cabriolets, Nissan micra and Honda Jazz's with K20 engines. This one will be staying put for what it owes me it can sit in the garage over winter and I won't mind. The only way I'll part ways with it is if I can get my hands on a Renault 5 GT Turbo
Looks nice and clean. Not a fan of the rear wing personally but they're easily changed. When I was getting the boot done on my 2004 UK WRX I considered a big Do Luck job from Japan but funds didn't allow.
There's a lad on the Scottish Subaru Facebook group selling a set of Speedlines btw

It's very clean was a grade 4 car when imported 3 years ago and as per phone call with Hurst cars they supposedly don't sell rubbish. Spoiler isn't my style it'll be getting changed at some point but not wanting to go down the STI route everyone else does was thinling a low rise WRX on risers . Got a set of speedlines getting picked up Friday night, need some tyres and a refurb There's a lad on the Scottish Subaru Facebook group selling a set of Speedlines btw

Will be following this thread closely. I sold my blob WRX back last year due to buying a house and regretted it ever since. Yesterday I picked up a blob wagon that will be turned into a track car, so very similar projects for us.
Biggest regret was selling my blue wrx300 above, I've a few bits planned luckily got this at an absolute steal and is the mintest shell I've ever seen. Still waiting for it back from the bodyshop as getting a wing and bumper repaired. In the meantime did a car vx report and have found out there was a heap of stuff stuffed up the back of the dash from import. Turbo timer,Greddy MSS and a Greddy boost controller so had it apart to get all that out and on show. Here's a few pics of it in Japan.
