Alfa Romeo Giulietta Lusso 1.6 JTDM-2
Discussion
Since there's been a few top spec Giulietta I thought I'd introduce my humble Lusso spec 1.6 JTDM-2 which regularly gets 45mpg even in Dynamic mode. They are great cars having owned this one for the last 4 years or so and I've had few Alfas before that. Never had any real issues my only gripe is as a tallie 6'2 and a half on a good day there is zero leg room behind the drivers seat so being a rear passenger isn't great and on long drives there is no foot rest despite the car having cruise control.
Mine being a 14 plate Lusso in Etna black it would have originally had 16' wheels. I've done a few mods since I've had it, facelift grill, fogs, front and rear camera, Bilstein suspension all round , Powerflex bushes all round etc and 7.5T 18' .Horseshoe wheels on decent Kuhmo tyres . It's previously had a Celtic tuning remap so gets a massive 150 bhp which is 45bhp over the standard. Then a few months back I saw a high mileage 2018 Veloce being broken so snapped up the full leather seats which was an easy swap.
Currently on 106k miles and just had a service and 4yr/80k Gates timing belt and water pump done last year. Currently running an Amazon Echo Auto from a power bank in the glove box. So next plans would be to retrofit the UConnect as it came with blue and me SatNav or fit an decent aftermarket system.
