Hi all. Haven’t been on here for a while.

Recently sold my McLaren 720S and it was time to buy my dream car… a 20 year old Ferrari!

I first saw a Challenge Stradale when I was 14 years old and it stuck with me forever. I needed to make it happen if I ever could.

With only 2 on the market at the time, choice isn’t really a thing. But, a “launch spec” car was for sale, most importantly, through a Ferrari Dealer, Dick Lovett Swindon. Rosso Scuderia, Red/Black Alcantara, Cage… 24k miles… only 1100 miles in the last 10 years which I won’t be continuing with that behaviour. It’s getting driven.

Here’s some photos from collection day.

So far, so good. Haven’t had much chance to use it because of the weather. But… the noise. Jesus Christ. One of the best sounding cars ever made imo. Driving it reminds me of being 18 again in stripped out track cars on the road. I absolutely love it.

Cheers

These have been my dream car along with a DB7 and a 928s both of which i have owned and enjoyed emensely but the 360CS is my unicorn and out of my reach.

To me it will always be the best looking Ferrari and one of the best looking cars period..

Awesome...

Those wheels and the stance make it look fabulous, and somehow timeless, it doesn't look 20 years old. Congrats!

Great post, enjoy smile

Good to hear it's going to get driven, nothing worse than a car living in a house not being used!

I followed one of these through the tunnel at Brands many years ago, and the sound was truly amazing. Good work OP, very, very jealous smile

This really is my dream car, regardless of budget. There's not a car I wouldn't walk past to get into this.

- and in this spec too!

Would be really interesting to hear your thoughts on the CS vs the 720s.

Congratulations!

Like you I’d always wanted one since being a teenager when they came out.

Had mine just over two years now and there’s nothing I’d rather have for a quick A -> A fun drive in a spare hour.

edit: since my mates expect me to say this: it’s not a “360 CS” it’s just a CS nerd
