Jaguar XF sportbrake P300 AWD 2024 model

After 7 months of waiting, it finally arrived.

Top spec Jaaaag P300 Sportbrake with all the trimmings.

It’s everything I hoped for and more. It drives surprisingly well for a large car, almost like a hot hatch, endless grip from the AWD system. The cockpit experience is hard to beat for the money, it certainly makes one feel special.

Went full wafting Gentleman spec - BRG over London Tan.

Positives - interior fit and finish/ pivi pro
Could be better - MPG

It’s such a shame that they stopped putting larger engines in Jaguars (please don’t take that the wrong way, OP!)…

The MPG is 26-27 around town but it’s an improvement on my old car so I can’t complain.

The 2.0 petrol is a nice engine, I know the die hards like a straight six but I find this modern engine works well with the car, for my needs anyhow.

Overall it feels and looks like a proper Jag.

Not dissimilar MPG to the Volvo V90CC T5 that I had, so I'm not surprised. I am surprised that they're still available for order, very nice spec.

New engines normally do after they've been run in for a few thousand miles.

If they'd put in that interior from launch I think the Mk2 XF would have done much better, it's back up to scratch with what they were doing with the Mk1 XF and the X351 XJ.

High 20s round town is brilliant for a 300bhp petrol, that was mid teens with a 300bhp V8 in the Mk1 XF.
