It's my Mustangs 57th birthday today, being built in Detroit on 12 December 1966. Its hard to believe I've owned it nearly 20 years, so 1/3 of its life. Its given me some fantastic memories and taken me on some amazing European trips. Here's to another 20 years!

That's lovely. What version is it? Did you import it yourself?

Must have been a lot cheaper back in 2003!

Happy Birthday to the Pony car. smile

Mine was born 16 February 1966, so coming up to it's 58th. I haven't looked after it for as long as you though ...

Yes, I imported it myself. I purchased it off ebay from a farmer in Ohio. Cost $13,700 when it was nearly $2 to £1! Was definitely a wise investment, I certainly couldn't afford to buy it now.

It's a 390 GTA. I sometimes wish I'd gone for a manual, but the auto just makes it more of a cruiser. Just use the huge amount of torque from 6.4 litres!
