I test drove a 640i and 640D in these before I decided to go for a previous F01 and was tempted by them again before buying my current F31

They're a bit too small in the back for every day use for us; but as a 2nd car it'd be a fantastic choice

They're an amazing drive!

We had a 640d Coupe, and it always got positive things said about it from folk. I still miss it to be honest.

Considering it’s in its tenth year, it only has 25000 miles. It’s a lovely drive. No sports car but it sounds superb, is a pleasant place to be and doesn’t break the bank. A good GT.

We use it as a third car as it’s ULEZ, which some of the diesels aren’t, so mpg doesnt matter too much. It gets around 30 unless you’re being a hooligan. It’s also handy for when your <insert JLR product here> has a moment, like this morning.

There's a nice one on AT currently; looks a superb car and for me, it'd be my preference over an M Sport TBH
