TBH I find low miles / usage does more damage to vehicle than high miles / usage. Enjoy!

Agree. I've just bought a 55k gen 2 that still needs coolant and brake pipes doing.OP if it's not got history of the full set of front coolant pipes being done in the past then expect to change more than just one.
I can't offer an opinion. I was mildly interested in a resprayed original 2.5 one at around £6K but have gone off of the idea.
I've not been looking at these so don't know how much they go for or what's a good price.
Do you have a nice route for the commute?

I don't commute so wondering how much was M-way/dual carriageway slog. I've not used those roads for years. Sometimes to shake it up a bit I used to drive through London and over Tower Bridge when travelling from The Chilterns to Thanet.15mi of A13
7 miles of Town/City driving
Each way.
As it's twice the price of the £6K 2.5 original I was looking at I'll be interested to know how it goes.

That sounds like absolute purgatory to me, especially with a manual, but then I’ve been WFH for ten years.15mi of A13
7 miles of Town/City driving

My 987.2S has 78k on the clock and seems in rude health. Good to see one with proper big miles on it.
I love driving Porsches anywhere, but for that commute I'd be in something comfy and automatic... or on the train!
But it looks a great buy, cheapest 987.2 S I've seen, and even if it throws a couple of bills which I guess it will, should still work out an economic way of running such a car. Enjoy!
