I don’t think there has been a Readers Cars yet on the Emira so I thought I’d start a thread having picked mine up last week.

Initial impressions are:

Handling is brilliant as expected
It feels much lighter than it’s weight when on the move
Fit and finish is first class, the interior quality is particularly impressive
Infotainment is good quality and works well
It attracts more attention than I was expecting!
Despite lots of commentary that it’s too quiet, it sounds pretty good to me, increasingly loud as you go into Sport and Track. I think Lotus have got the balance right
It looks fast even parked up
Performance - not yet run in so I’m not going beyond 4K revs, but I’m sure it’ll be plenty quick enough for the road

Super happy with it so far, will get it run in and update this thread with photos and videos.

Good to hear your positive feedback.

Nimbus was my second choice yours looks great especially without blackpack my car is Seneca similar spec to you but forged alloys with yellow calipers. May build June delivery.

Look forward to seeing more photos.

I am part Northwest based too.

Where is the pub btw?

Thanks! I don’t think it has a bad angle, but I’m a bit biased smile

That’s the one, cracking food in there and some great country roads in the area. What’s not to like smile

That’s a lovely, lovely thing.

I think these are stunning things in the flesh. There was a blue one at Sunday Service last week. There is nothing that looks like these for the price.

Fitted my private plate to the car, it’s fully legal but a bit shorter with it being six digits rather than seven, improves the look quite a bit (in my opinion)!

Still running in as I’ve been away on holiday, trip computer is showing 18mpg over the first 450 miles which is a bit scary!

I saw one of these the other day (blue), it looked like a proper little supercar, really striking and much more exotic than previous Lotus'

It deserves to do well for that alone.

I saw one parked at Brands Hatch on Sunday. Wife said it looked like a small Ferrari so that can't be bad praise. I thought it looked lovely in the flesh and would have guessed at a higher buy price than they are. Hope you have a great time with it

Fabulous, I loved my Evora so lust for one of these.
Any interior pics? Seems to be the place lotus have moved their game on most from the reviews

First your car looks great congrats!

Second I have an Exige so very similar engine. My last fill up I got nearly 38mpg across the tank worked out properly. Most of it was a steady drive on the motorway but it did include a drive around the Peak District as well. So hopefully yours will improve as the engine loosens up.

The interior is really impressive. Lots of quality feeling alcantara, on the spec I have the yellow stitching lifts the interior nicely. The infotainment is great and the fact you can have the screen or dash display show G Force readings, bhp/torque and downforce levels appeals to the inner child in me :-)

A beautiful looking car. Probably the only new car that I would have any interest in owning.

I look forward to reading about your adventures. Enjoy.
