I have found myself in a dilemma! I have ended up with two Legacy Tourers (estates)
A year ago I passed my 2008 2.0 auto on to a grandson when he had a car crisis and bought myself another Subaru, but a previous generation 2003 2.5auto. Both cars were around 50000 miles when bought (very low for Subarus) and had been properly maintained (oils, tyres, belts drop arms etc). Both were "keepers". Now my grandson has been offered a car for his job (he's put about 20000 miles onto the 2.0) so I have to decide which to keep! I don't need both. Both have long MOT's, All season tyres....
I suppose what I will do is keep both for a bit & see which I prefer. They have different characters, but both are great cars. I have no room, nor need for both & have a couple of classic cars also!
I don't want to move house, get divorced or enlarge my drive, nor sell both for something else. Oh dear https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/8.gif

I'd be keeping the one that's in the best condition, and that could easily be the older one too. Hopefully so as it has the larger engine, probably lower mileage now and possibly even cheaper tax because of the 2006 cut off point. Win.
