At last i have a readers wives worthy car , after my 530d got nicked i felt a bit down, i've never had a V8 , this had been for sale for a while but i gave it a ring and he'd just spent £999 servicing it .

Good points :

Recent service
fPsh up to 108K then serviced at 115k and 122k by local garage
Heated steering wheel (helps with my neuropathy)
Bose
3/4 tank fuel
Heated seats
Sunroof
All black (obvs)
Cooled glovebox (?)

Bad points :

Cosmetically needs a bit of attention with a few dings and scuffs
Tyres diagonally paired with uneven mm left
alloys a bit scuffed
Needs a good clean
No PASM, not sure if this is bad thing looking at repair costs

Plan :

Update the stereo, just trying to get my head around the eye watering adapter kit (any experiences here please respond)
Get it cleaned properly
Possible 20" techno alloys
Replace a couple of interior trim bits that have broken with ebay parts
Drive it and see how it goes over the next 6 months, once my finances have sorted themselves out (boring story) i'll take a view

We don't talk about fuel costs / MPG
We don't talk about the other thread

Everybody needs a bit of V8 once in a while, before the thought police outlaw them. 3/4 of a tank of dino juice should see you right for a mile or two! What’s not to like? Good luck with it.
