I’ve just bought this. Apparently 5,300 miles from new. Original paint etc. Its a 350, 4 speed manual. The only Elkhart Green convertible in the UK. Can’t wait!

Collect it next week. Weather permitting. Previous owner has threatened to beat me if I drive it in the rain. Lol.

That said, I intent to enjoy it at all opportunities.

That is a lovely thing, drive it in whatever weather you chose!
I love the colour, it is unusual, or at least I don't remember seeing one that colour. The shot from above against the blue floor somehow makes it look like a model rather than the real thing.

They're all nice but a late chrome bumper is up there. Looks like 28 State Cars in the pics ?

Not sure what 28 State Cars is? A dealer? It’s not from them.

I detest the luggage rack but everyone else tells me to relax. I’m reluctant to remove and repaint the panel and the paint is original. Maybe some domed stainless bolts to replace?

‘72 is the last of the chrome bumper C3s before it went smog tastic and the shape and engine got diluted.

A few months ago, I went to Santa Pod to watch the European Drag Champs for the first time. I always knew I should see it, as a petrolhead, but I was totally blown away by the whole event and knew I needed a muscle car after that. My uncle has a ‘65 C2 auto which I have driven a fair bit and I rented a C6 in Vegas for a week (which I wrote up on here) so I know the brand.

“Rush Hour” has a lot to answer for too, but when I saw this car… all reason left my brain and I HAD TO HAVE IT. So here we are. I feel giddy. Nothing like a new dream car purchase…

Now that’s a stunning looking motor! I’d love that to burble around in during the summer, great purchase OP enjoy.

That’s lovely and looks epic fun. I’d ditch the luggage rack too, it spoils the lines and just replace with some chrome domes. thumbup

What an absolute stunner, as a kid growing up in the 60’s American cars did nothing for me, this era of Corvette was the exception, just looked stunning.

What is the story behind the mileage, that is incredibly low. How did you find the car, sounds like there is a bit of story there.

Looks like you’re in for a lot of fun.

I love these. I just can't decide between a t-top and a convertible but I'll have one at some point. Look forward to a running report.

That’s definitely the car but I didn’t deal with them so they must have tie in with a shop further south. Good spot!

Stunning!
A relative of mine in California had a very similar, low miles dry weather only example he took as part of a business deal some 25 years ago. I still regret not pushing him to take me out in it.

On my bucket list and this one is a stunning colour.

Where have you gone op? Background to the mileage? Experience since purchase.
