2018 Swift Sport Project
Discussion
Been meaning to post up for a while now but keep starting the post and not finishing it… anyways I have been working on improving performance on my little Suzuki for some time. Currently she has the following specification:
Suzuki Swift Sport 1.4T K14C engine
273bhp and 299ft lb
Factory Engine although forged motor is in hand
Garret GBC20-300 Turbo
3” to 2.5” Downpipe with 200Cel Catalyst
2.5” Custom Exhaust single exit
CTC Intercooler
CTC intake with Carbon air box
CTC Recirc valve
TS actuator converted from Vac to Pressure
Alloy Hard Pipe kit
CTC LSD
CTC Clutch
SCS Delta GDI6 Standalone ECU
AIM Dash
Recaro CS seats
4 Pot Brake Kit
Skyline GTS T wheels
Coilovers
Few cosmetic bits.
Rollcage on order along with the forged engine build.
Think on track she should surprise a few people, did some acceleration tests. 60-80mph was achieved in 1.9’s and 60-100mph in 5.3’s (have to shift at 95mph) which show the cars potential. Dare not do do 0-60mph as the clutch was never designed for this power so I have a twin plate to go in with the forged engine. Hope to run a little more power to see over 300hp but not much point in much more as it does struggle for traction a little. Hopeful some AR1’s will Grip a little more.
Hope to get on more track days next year :-)

The non hybrid makes 150-155hp ignore the official 138bhp figures. Remap will see you around 170hp with a decent exhaust or intercooler 175-180hp. Down pipe would take it to 180-185hp which in a 970kg car is more than enough really. Coming from the man who’s next plan is over 300hp..
