Hi All,

New member here, I've recently picked up this beast. Loving the Skoda experience so far. Excellent car!

I noticed there's a pistonheads sticker in one of the rear door windows and wondered if anyone recognised the car?

The dealer I bought it from said it had some work done, a remap, it's got a sports exhaust and a ramair intake system on it too and it's pretty quick!

I'm just looking for a bit more info on the mods and if the previous owner might be on here. Any other advice and comments welcome!

Great colour!

I have been tentatively looking for estates in just this shade of green, but they are few and far between. And I'm not sure Mrs van Guy would approve!

Looking forward to updates on yours.

Yeah it's a stunning colour! Stands out well in car parks too biggrin

There's a bit of a plan, but i'll throw any updates on this thread smile

First port of call is to figure out exactly what kind of map is on it. The dealership put a new clutch in, so the next major job after that I would say is timing chain/water pump?

There's a few bits of bodywork that could do with touching up properly too, but other than that it's a lovely motor biggrin

Looking smart - it makes a change to see a car that isn't some shade of silver, grey or black!

Nice cars, these. We had a mk 2 diesel vRS, then a mk 3 petrol vRS (from new in 2017, on 96k km now). Neither missed a beat. Will probably get the newest in the next 6 months or so.

Might be worth looking on the BriSkoda forum for the former owner to get more info.

Someone has painted/stuck film on the headlights.

I really like the green. My pfl is red, I'd have preferred blue. Green only came along on the facelift cars I think. Carried over the MK3.

yeah i'm not sure i'm a fan of the smoked headlights. Think they'd work better being brighter and compliment the wheels more.

Could be the first mod (or de-mod :P)

Looks good in green; it’s a cracking colour. Unfortunately my company car budget didn’t stretch to the green when I ordered my Mk3, so I had to make do with white.
