Was looking for a shed then saw this and could not help myself. To some it may still be a shed but was a wee bit more than the allowed shed maximum.
Its a 1 owner from new car with a fully stamped service book. I could not find a dent or scratch on it.
The little 1.2 fire unit fired up and sounded very enthusiastic. Its an odd driving position at first as you sit quite high. And I found at first I was reaching too low for the gearlever. But after a while its really quite nice. Its a nippy little thing too and doesnt feel that wallowy when you get a bit spirited on the back lanes.

Not certain at this stage if I will do anything to it. But i do like subtle mods. Anyway here it is.

Really great little cars, we've had a 2008 from new, It's still mint and low mileage. Cheap motoring too, we only paid £4995 for it, so £385 a year.

They are great cars - FIAT are just the masters of the small runaround. You can get much larger wing mirrors for them that give excellent vision

Its honestly as nice as it looks in the pics. Mod wise cant stand the crashed through Halfords look. As I say I want to make subtle rather than major mods. Starting very slowly with tricolore stickers biggrin

I may look for a larger diameter steel wheels and paint them. I saw another member do it on his and it looked cool. Also although undecided I do like the longitudinal roof bars. But I hear they are very hard to get used and hellish expensive new.

I agree with that they have quite a history of fun small cars. I thought I saw some with bigger mirrors.

I wanted something cheap, practical and uncomplicated. I think this ticks all those boxes. I guess you have found also.

These are on the shortlist for when my son gets his first car in a couple of years. Interested to see how you get on.
I had one as a hire car in Sardinia and it was a great thing to chuck about.

Can you? If so, that'd be a revelation for my old Panda. The tiny mirrors are a pet hate of mine, can hardly see anything in them.

We bought a used 1.1 Active for each child (3 of them) at 18. They cost nothing to run and in our experience are totally reliable although we seem to get through a lot of brake pads but I think that's down to the way they are driven. Middle boy is just coming up to 6 years in his.

I can see that being a problem Hugo. It’s mint and I feel I’m going to try and keep it that way. Both a pleasure and a pain.

I noticed brake pads done recently in the history. Having driven it the once so far it felt like a point, squirt, brake repeat sort of drive. Good fun though bearing in mind it only has 60 ponies.

Mine threw up a good few issues when I first got it, but it had been owned by an elderly lady that I think drove it to the shops once a week and only ever took it for an MOT once a year, no servicing.

The oil was like mud. I expected the worst, but to be fair, 15k miles later and a good few oil changes, it runs perfectly and you'd never know it had been so neglected previously. Probably helps it was only on 37k when we got it. The water pump made a horrendous squeal when we got it too, but a cambelt and water pump change sorted that and it will be good for a long time now.

I changed the plugs when I first got mine too and that seemed to help it out a bit. Everything seems easy to change. Aux belt was a 10 minute job too.

It was originally my partner's car for work, but since we got our Volvo V60, I find my commute is a tad short to really get it up to temp without thrashing it, so I let her use the nice newer car and I am loving using the Panda. Properly fun to throw around. Mine needs a new clutch soon as it bites right at the top. Also, the sumps go on all of them. Mine needs doing ASAP.

Does yours have A/C? If not, it is even easier to work on then as there is a lot less in the way!

Absolutely love Pandas. About time I had another one actually. I'm not sure about NATO white, but they're really fun cars to bounce around in.

Backbox rust and steering column motors are about the only things to go wrong with them as far as I remember.
