Reposting as I’m unable to find the original thread to update on ( previous user name that I’ve no access to)

A couple of weeks ago, was the first time in 5 years of ownership I actually drive my R32 & it really took me back to when I first had one in the early 2000s

Cut a long story short. Grade 4 car, a lot of work was done in japan via my ownership, (both mechanical upgrades such as the Ecu upgrade and Hks vcam at Midori seibi, interior etc) but decided to redo some of the work when it arrived in lockdown 1 & opted for a top notch glass out repaint ( in original TH1)

(I have the carbon Nismo airbox & inlet ready to go on, just waiting to book the car in)

Then had it detailed after its first drive

2021 kicked off with some positivity. Let’s hope it’s the start of things to come

That looks ace! very nice. It's funny to start seeing R32s treated as classic cars like this, but great - enhancing its natural shape with some nice wheels and a respray in the original colour, but no crazy bodykits or neon paint jobs ;-)

Yes that’s right. I’ve had the 34 for 11 years now. I still keep in touch with Gio & saw him last year

An R32 on TE37s with R34 seats. Literally my dream car, perhaps with a (proper) Mini tucked in together in the garage.

How do you find the performance against modern stuff? I know some say that a Golf R would run rings around them, but that isn’t really the point though.

The performance is not on par with a modern golf r, but it’s mid 500 so plenty

The whole interior was redone, but they are standard seats just releathered

I will post later a full spec. There’s a lot of upgrades, but my thoughts were to keep it subtle

Big fan of an R32, and theres some spec on that! I loved mine with a passion, V Spec II but with 2 engine failures, the second one inside 800 miles of the first, I got rid and retreated to the reliable bosom of Toyota haha. I still hanker after on but theyre firmly out of reach now.
