Audi A4 s-line 2.5 V6 2006 auto Poor fuel consumption

I would love to get into the 30’s or even early to mid 20’s with my fuel consumption
Help needed, I’ve only had the car two weeks after just having a full service, all belts included
The car itself is in near mint condition and I was under no elusion it was going to be great on fuel but I was hoping to 35mpg would be achievable or is it just a pipe dream
I’m going to check out the AMF shortly to see if it needs a clean and have ordered a cleaner
All, any help would be appreciated
