Another Astra...
Discussion
Good time to start a blog whilst the country is in lock-down / limbo!
Purchased this little car last October, it is a 2010 Astra SRI. I originally wanted a VXR, but fell in love with the colour. It's a little 1.8 with 140bhp and 50,000 miles at the time of purchase. In fairness the lack of power hasn't bothered me at all, it's the perfect amount for the short country lanes around here, I've had much more powerful cars in the past, but it doesn't honestly bother me.
It was very standard when I got it, even had the original wipers. As far as I can tell, it was originally sold by Thurlby Motors in Louth (the guys that came up with the Triple 8's). It's a decent spec too, with heated leather seats and sat-nav
I've done a few bits, boring tings like new battery, wipers, ect, but have also just finished fitting Eibach Pro Kit Springs.
Many years ago I had a 2.2 Bertone Astra with a rear Whiteline rarb, made the world of difference, so that's the next thing on the list.

Would love a Scania, thats gorgeous! Can't imagine that trailer being easy to maneuver, not seen wheels configured like that before
The Scania is a nice piece of kit, the trailer on the other hand. It's an LST it's 15.6m long with rear steer and a near 3m tail swing, basically it's a PITA, thankfully I don't pull it to often.DevonLad said:
