My 1969 Reliant Scimitar GTE
Discussion
Hi,
Glad you like her. I too prefer the early models like mine the SE5 or the revised SE5a, but the SE6 was longer and wider and square. It was less sportier than the SE5/5a models, but it was aimed at the executive, with softer suspension, plush interior, more roomy. However, I do like the Middlebridge Scimitar with the 2.9 efi engine.
Parts for these cars are readily available, with the exception of certain trim items. The main dealer, who has bought the rights to build the Scimitar is Graham Walker www.grahamwalker.co.uk/ , but they mainly do servicing and parts as it would cost too much to build a new Scimitar.
I have a website dedicated to all the Reliant Sports cars and most of the prototypes.
