Hello Guys N Gals,

Just popping in to so say Hiwavey

Its been a good few years from my last post so thought best to re introduce myself.

I've been away from the car scene for some years due to growing up and mortgages etc.

Now Back on the scene and a Big fan of N/A engines, I've treated myself to a 2013 C63 In Pearl white, from my constant research I believe I've managed to knab myself a PPP Model but the seller was advertising it as a PP. ( now waiting for someone to rain on my flames).

It wasn't till the test drive that I realised that it had the performance Plus Pack but he was adamant that is was only the PP, then when we got into the conversation about the Diff, he had No idea what I was talking about!!

I'm almost certain that its has the LSD done, either factory or other, We came off the roundabout and on the power and it launched out of the corner like nothing I've ever experienced before, hardly any movement, and only a small amount of counter steering needed.

If the diff hasn't been done I'll be making a call to Birds to get it done. ( but need to do some checking first).

Its great to be backcool

Nice car! Easy to check for a diff. Turn the TC off and light it up in a straight line. Look if you’ve laid down some ones or some elevens.

Stunning!!!! I am literally about to pull the trigger on one albeit a 2012 and a saloon - super excited!

Coming from a diesel Merc I am sure the power will take some getting used too!!!!!!

Get some more pics up.

I believe that even without a LSD, a C63 can make number 11s if the road surface is even enough.

Just incase.

Welcome. These are awesome cars and by far my favourite “practical” performance car that I have owned. Here is mine, sadly no longer in my stable.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

here's some more pics as requested,

I still have my concerns about if this is a PP or PPP car, can any of you help identify what model is?

Just seen this on their website, very nice! Still considering one of these for my next car but trying to find a genuinely good example has put me off somewhat.

Nice car op, an easy way to tell if it has an lsd is to jack the car up on the diff at the back or get it on a ramp with wheels in the air, turn one wheel by hand and if the other turns the same way it has an lsd, if it turns the opposite way it dosent

I bought mine from there and the dealer didn't have a f*cking clue what they were selling. Whatever I asked (does it have this, that, the other), he just said what he thought I wanted to hear.

Make sure you hassle them hard for evidence of e.g. driveaway insurance, roadside assistance cover before you leave

I love it to bits, but you are right to point out that these guys probably not 100% sure of the spec

Ok, ta, they gave a free standard warranty, but the extended one was £2800, and the service plan £1700., but I've said no to both as ill use an independent specialist.,
I've never been convinced of any dealer that doesn't know what they are selling to service my cars.

And they want £795 for the gap, I can get it got £200 via my own broker

I've always liked these and I adore the way they sound! cloud9

I wished they had made them with a manual gearbox though and that would have been the perfect recipe for me.

Enjoy it. thumbup

Lovely car op.

Its a performance pack plus. They all are in the facelift, and got the sls internals with more bhp, red callipers etc etc. Unfortunately the lsd became an option on the ppp cars having previously being standard in the pre facelift pp cars. So check if it has option 471 on the spec sheet, or as said previously jack up the back and turn one wheel. If it does not have it then buying a quaife lsd will be the single most important purchase for the car as it transforms it, and tbh the only modification it needs as personally I wouldn't be into louder exhausts etc.
