Nice car. Though every time I see one of these, I always think back to that thread where the guy does 3,000,000 coats of polish. Anyone got the link to that handy? Fancy diving into the madness again.

Same Marc who used to own green Mk2 Focus RS?

Fun little cars these. Owned one years ago.... 2008 iirc. Real shame VXL wont be making cars like this anymore.

Good work, this must go very well! What I can never get my head around is why people do builds like this which must of cost a significant sum and then pass the car on without even having it mapped properly!! Whoever built it and spent all the money on the engine must of got pretty much zero enjoyment back from it. The cynical part of me would say there must be something wrong with the car, but glad that doesn't appear to be the case and you can benefit from the previous owners investment :-)

Isn't that basically the thread that prompted the "Detail my Dyson" thread ??

  • Alan Partridge voice* Well, technically there's no such thing as a coat of polish. It's an abrasive. Waxes and sealants are applied in coats (although not so much nowadays!)
Smart car. Watch out for cylinder four!
