Inspired by other threads I thought I'd introduce my previous cars.
First up we have
Bought new in 1994 by my grandparents, M355 GAT was a Fiesta Equipe. The Equipe was one of the special editions that Ford brought out that year, the others being the Mistral and Sapphire. All were based on the 1.3LX as far as I know. M355 GAT was unusual being painted in Garnet Red which wasn't an official Fiesta colour. It served us well for 12 years and 74000 miles, the last 7000 or so being in my ownership. I only owned it about 6 months before trading it in as it was on the point of needing a lot of money spending on it. I found out later that the 2007 MOT was failed badly on terminal rot. The original picture that this was taken from was taken in Tolpuddle.
Next up is a car that needs no introduction

Yes this is the Fiesta I have just sold after 12 years and 173000 miles.
Then in early 2008 my sister and I bought this between us

It was bought primarily for my sister to learn to drive in but was a back up for me as well. I really enjoyed driving the little Panda. We only had it around 18 months, sadly she failed her test several times and decided to give up so the Fiat was sold.
Then finally the latest purchase which has a thread of its own

None of them are flash I know but they have all served me well.

The 2 Fiestas I had drove nicely. The first long distance drive I did was in the first Fiesta, Yorkshire to the Isle of Wight. The 1.25 Mk6 was more refined than the 1.3 Mk3 but that's to be expected with the Duratec being a more modern engine than the HCS engine that the Mk3 had. I believe the origins of the HCS engine went back to the 1959 Anglia.
