Scratches Saab 9-5 aero Fixer upper

Hi Guys I am a long time lurker on here but never really posted anything but have always wanted to as i find you all very entertaining anyways on to the car. I got the Saab January this year after I saw an ad for sale with no pics, the ad was very short saying that the car was a good runner but had a ABS light on and headlight light on. So after a short drive to the dealer I found out a trucker had owned it and that it was a part ex that the dealer wanted rid of, it had 133 k on the clocks and a small list of faults including a damaged front bumper and rear passenger door.

So I should have really walked away but I have always wanted a big fast saloon car and I love saabs so my heart over took my brain and I got it for what I thought was a reasonable price of £1495............ I was kinda wrong. The mot ran out at the end of Jan and I had no idea what i was doing as my car history is naff and I have no mechanical expertise (Just the basics) so I took it to a saab specialist for its MOT and told him to go over the car and get it road worthy and fix as much as you can, which he did and left me with a big bill for almost what I paid for the car..... I am an Idiot.
To be honest with you I did not care I just loved the car it had everything I had never had in a car as my last car was a 2009 fiat panda so this car was luxury to me, I had recently moved house and was walking distance from work so I would not use it to often so running costs should be Low. Since then i have been sorting little bits and bobs that needed doing
Abbot cat back (old exhaust was an MOT advisory)
Much needed polish
Next was the Dame edna front end sooo Half a can of Plasti dip later
Next was new wheels Fox MS007'S
And Finally stage 3 tune 3 inch downpipe, 200 cell sport cat, 3.5 bar FPR and stage 3 remap from Noobtune
Mystery bracket on auto box had to be cut off
Perished vacuum hoses all replaced
So here she is now after a load of money and lots of attention

Yeah they seem too hold up pretty well but on the later saabengines you cannot really go past 300bhp and 440 nm anyway as the engine internals will not take anymore. On the older engines you can safel take the engines to 500 bhp but then the gearboxes do tend to start eating themselves bigtomski said:
