After an interesting 2 years with the Laguna Coupe I decided enough was enough and it was time I treat myself to a car with some power and one that hopefully won't fall to bits around me!

I decided on a 330D MSport XDrive, the 8spd ZF box is great when twinned with the 4WD system. I tried out the launch control and there wasn't any obvious signs of the tyres slipping.

Tbh there's not a lot of tyre slip on my non xdrive, although when there is it's quite fun

Haha thanks Scott, we’ll have to catch up once you’ve got the 2002 on the road!

Last month I got a decent deal from a BMW dealer on a new M Performance rear diffuser, took all of 10mins to swap over from the original.

I've just bought a M Performance front splitter from the same dealer which should be here at some point this week.

I’ve got the 335d with a Celtic Tuning remap
I can fully recommend looking at that for yours
It transformed the 335d in a monster when the mood suits

I'm still in 2 minds with a remap, it's easy enough to end up in ban territory without one!

Just fitted some replacement side skirts which have the decals and skirt extensions fitted.

I'm hopefully getting the spoiler sprayed and fitted to the car in March and then it's onto tidying the wheels up.

F30 Spoiler by Simon Blades, on Flickr

Finally got round to dropping my spoiler off at a friends bodyshop to get sprayed and fitted. I have also removed the side skirt stickers as I wasn't happy with the overall look, I still need to remove the extensions to finish off removal.

Well after 6 years of ownership and covering 50k miles, the car has been traded in for a Mercedes GLC 43AMG.

Other than a bowden cable snapping preventing me opening the drivers door and a couple of brake tension arms, the car really has wanted for nothing.

Looking forward to being back in a petrol and something that sounds half decent.
