My first rwd, v8 and Maserati! A 2004 Maserati 4200 cc.
After lusting over these for years, I've finally bitten the bullet. It's an itch I had to scratch.
I've had mostly Alfas over the years including a coupe of 156 GTAs but this thing is next level in terms of performance and service cost, I wouldn't have bought one without a recent clutch change (clutch and F1 pump - £5k).
I love it, though I must admit I'm a little scared of any odd noise etc!

Congratulations - still a great looking car. I remember being terrified of any noises when I bought my first 3200. It was surprisingly reliable, and I owned another two over the next few years without ending up on the street. I did try a 4200 (Spyder) but couldnt get used to the cambiocorsa auto box, and the interior wasnt as high quality (a bit more leather-look vinyl compared to the 3200). The 4200 does sounds good!

Cheers! I originally wanted a 3200 but their reputation for being so unreliable, rightly or wrongly, put me off. The cc box is interesting. I find it quite painful manoeuvring out of my drive etc, but it's good fun once going.
I'm loving the car, I'm not really sure if it's a long termer or not, too early to say. Although it definitely wasn't bought as an investment, it's hard to see the price dropping much more, but they are tricky to sell I think, limited market and all that.
