C207 Mercedes E350 CDI Coupe

Well after a couple of years of cheaper cars I upgraded from my 2005 E46 320cd to this, new to me 1 previous owner '13 plate Mercedes E350 CDI coupe, presented in Tenorite grey with panoramic roof and a whole host of other goodies, I average about 50 miles a day for work and the big V6 diesel has returned a nice 47mpg, not bought specifically for mpg but a nice surprise all the same.

With winter approaching and owning plenty of rear wheel drive cars, I had the option of winter tyres for the Merc or a cheap winter hack, lookout for my other thread on what happens.

The Tenorite is a rare colour, with my E500 coupe I took the grill apart, had it painted black & put the chrome back on, it makes the grille look like it's floating.

Also a map & intercooler really makes the car a sweeter drive, does yours have the hard drive & air cooled seats?

That looks really nice, I don’t know a lot about mercs but I quite fancy one for my motorway commute.

The E Coupe is a great place to while away the miles, the 350d is the one to go for if you're looking at diesels.

Mine was Tenorite Grey with Flamingo Red leather, they're lovely cars. I had it remapped by GAD which made it rather swift and more economical too - best I saw was 56mpg but 45+mpg on a motorway run was regularly achievable.

It really is an efortless cruiser, the V6 diesel is so refined with plenty of torque, I'll have a look into the GAD remap.

I’ve got a 2010 350 Coupe in Calcite White.

Love it! Effortlessly powerful, very comfortable & looks great.

Looked into a remap but decided it’s plenty fast enough for me.
