It really isn't. I can park it anywhere and not worry too much about the size of it. Rear wheel steering really helps with tight corners. Might have been big at launch but most SUV's dwarf it nowadays. Put 100K on my 2008 model, now out of warranty. Not missed a beat. Will bankrupt me though if it catches a cold. OP's car looks lovely, model after mine but might as well be a different car. Genuine car you can drive hours in and arrive like you've flown in on a jet! Wouldn't want to buy one new mind, about 10K though and huge value, even used approved starts about 14K.

Amazing purchase. Was in the market for these, if there was a petrol around that price we would have taken it over our A6, but it would have had to been a 740i, and they are generally more expensive. We are a BMW family as well!Paid just north of £11k. 69k on the clock, full history
Our 3rd party warranty was hopeless however, good luck with them, was better for us to budget repair costs instead of buying a warranty.

Had a look at a few F01's myself that were local; but couldn't justify spending £10-£12k on a car that might only just do 4/5k miles a year; more so when we've just had all 3 bedrooms upstairs fitted/decorated/carpeted and still needed to fork out £2k to get the chimney rebuilt and lined...! Hence why I went for an E65 730D instead at half the price...
I know I'll find myself looking at the F01s soon enough though; I'll give my E65 12months first

Thanks. This is my second 7 series. Had a LWB E65 a while back but it was leggy and a bit tired. This is the third car I've owned with this engine. I had an E60 525d that responded very well to a map. Considering the same with this.
