Well it’s another car off my bucket list, only just bought it and it’s car no 39 in 27 years of driving.
Still in two minds wether I like the wrap or not? Car is black underneath and hopefully should be in tip top condition but that’will be another story for when/if the wrap comes off in my ownership.only actually got this due to having to many issues over a 6 week period with original buy (BMW X6) so rejected and put a a couple of grand into this instead.Must admit am in 2 minds whether I have done the right thing or not, each car as it’s own Good and bad bits.

My vote is to get rid of the wrap. To my eyes it looks horrible.

Yep, definitely check the nooks and crannies for any hidden 'easter eggs' the previous owner may have left behind.

I'd lose the wrap if it were my car. I like the car itself though.

Matt paint/wrap always looks terrible IMO but the Mrs just got rid of her Prestige spec Evoque and it was really good car. Totally reliable in the 5 years she had it. The only thing about it I didn't like was the gruff Ford donkey which really didn't suit it IMO and she's decided to go the Disco Sport route this time in petrol which is much better.

That was my thoughts ref the wrap. My thinking was the paintwork should be good hopefully with it being wrapped, On checking with the company it has been on for 21/2 years and paint was good underneath so just a case of when it does come off all should be good underneath. Also got it for a decent price.
Ref the X6, it mechanical issues that just seem to be constant, from steering wheel judder to bearings, discs & pads, control arms, drive shaft and finally a oil leak and all with in a period of six weeks so it had to go. Was a beautiful looking motor.

Wrap taken off - quoted £500 + Vat 🤬, and would take around 4 days work,well I did it with the wife and brother in law on Monday and it took us just over an hour to complete with no equipment whatsoever - just the good old sunshine as my heat gun👍😎came off leaving no glue or anything on the paintwork, took a bit of lacquer off the silver side trims but nothing major.so if anybody out there is thinking of paying to unwrap a car while the weather is like this do it now while you have the good outside temperatures.Just ensure you turn the panels your working on into the sun and let them heat up for a few mins and it peals straight off, I am under the impression mine was a decent one ‘HEX’ but may different for others so do be careful but you can do it 👌

I don’t know why they said it would take 4 days work. If they just said £500+vat then it might not seem such a rip off. They have staff, premesis etc to pay for so will never do it for nothing, but to lie that it takes 4 days is hilarious and makes them look stupid.
