This is the start of the restoration replacing the floor pan after stripping the whole body with paint stripper and shot blasting the areas that required it. The bonnet was in good condition apart from the lower front panel which was replaced but the new panel did not fit correctly so we had to modify it. I have to say that all the parts that one purchases these days does not fit it is Chinese rubbish. It is far better to refurbish all your old parts.

Car now in primer ready for top coat of leaf green.

These are the parts that I have had powder coated and assembled all items ready for installation after reconditioning. As you can see on the rear axel the brake pipes do take a lot of work to get them correctly bent.

Looks good. Restored one of these in my early 20s. Lovely little things. Repairing the rear spring hangers will do your head in though....
