I haven't posted for a while....thought I'd post up my 996 C4S manual. It's in quite a rare polar Silver with a pretty high spec. It's just turned 59k with full Porsche history......hope you like!.

That’s lovely and a guaranteed future classic.

What’s it like to drive and live with?

I like these, the prices have gone up lately! Thinking one of these or a 997 Carrera S for my next car

This is identical to my dad's C4S, which he's run as a daily since 2010 and still absolutely loves it. You've got a good ownership experience ahead of you with one of these, enjoy!

Love these, and a good 996 4S is probably my dream middle aged tourer with chops (vs. 458 GTA/M). I'd tick the 'tip box option though, and hoon it around Europe for the fun of it, such a capable vehicle.

I have only owned it since August, but love it. It's well up together but booked into Steve Bull Specialist cars for a drive belt change and new coil packs. I had it serviced at Porsche Centre Bristol in Aug and with their fixed price servicing for earlier models it was only £450 for a major with Brake fluid which I thought was good value.
I was in 2 minds whether to go 996 or 997 but after driving one of these just fell in love.....I've had loads of various cars over the years including a show winning RB5 but this just feels quite special. Although it was sold as the everyday 911 I wouldn't want to use it everyday myself, but it has loads of character and gets a lot of attention from people of all ages.
I bought it as a second car/weekend toy......when I was car hunting the criteria had to be something impractical that gave me that buzz whether driving fast or slowly around town and this does exactly that!

your 996 looks sensational. My last 986 was Polar Silver, it is the best colour on these

I was originally looking for a Seal Grey one, but this really caught my eye and I think it's one of the nicer 996 colours....plus it's pretty rare - at the last PCGB meeting at Goodwood there were approx. 15 996 C4S's and mine was the only Polar Silver. I trawled the country and looked at 6 others before pulling the trigger on this one.its pretty mint compared to the others I viewed previously.
It has factory switchable PSE, BOSE, optional Porsche Crested memory seats, Litronic (Xenon) headlights, interior carbon pack, factory silver dials, rear park assist. PSE sounds unreal!👌🏻

It also looks amazing on 993/997 too, as it also does on the 986/987. Was it even available from 991/981 onwards? See Rhodium Silver whicjh looks similar in some lights

I looked hard for a Seal Grey 996 C4S a few years back, but bottled it. Regret that decision now, though it did allow me Caterham and Elise ownership instead. That looks great and for me, the 996 with a red reflector across the back is an iconic image.

These are 911 shape that I grew up with. Classic Porsche shape in my (youngish) eyes.

Really nice looking.

Stunning cars I had a polar silver 996TT many moons ago it was a great car.
I think the C4S looks better without the vents and wings and they certainly sound better..enjoy!
