2017 i3 with the range extender - few options like the professional nav. Will put more details up re economy and any range anxiety issues soon

I like em, would own one, don't like the wheels on yours but that's just me.
A mate has had the full E/V for nearly 2years and he loves his.
I'm looking into one as a replacement for SWMBO's leased Kia daily that goes back in Feb.

Yeh we preferred the other wheels too but the price was getting a bit silly with the other options we selected so decided to go with the standard ones..

We just put a deposit down on a second hand one yesterday. It arrives on Friday, replacing our Zoe. Can't wait to try it, my missus has driven it but I never got the chance.

Had that experience once when I lived in Richmond... wouldn't fancy it again!

I'd be interested to see what the motorway range is like with the Rex. James May made it look like it was only 50 miles or so, but I'd be keen to see what you get in the real world.

Why not just cram all the gear under the bonnet of a 1 series and stick an 'e' badge on the boot!?

I have a shortcut key to fire up the REX and hold SOC - as long as you don't have air conditioning / wipers / headed seats going full blast (and not flooring it) it held the charge exactly as advertised.

i've done 88 (hard) miles in it so far and its showing 50 Miles remaining in battery and 41 in rex - 179 theoretical.

I have been flooring it pretty much everywhere and at least 25 miles of that was flat out on the A12.

so far so good...

i would like one, when they come down in price, when I can charge at home (can't now), when the range is extended further. I have seen a few in the flesh, they go quickly and silently to 30mph. Oh, I think the wheels are OK.

I so wanted one of these but the test drive made the other half really travel sick within a few yards. So sick she could barely walk, let alone drive the thing. I was gutted...

real math puts you in an 07-08 Prius and points you towards 250k miles at 4L/100km
