I've recently picked up a new to me Mk 2 Tuscan
Original engine was in bad health so I've just had it rebuilt and enlarged from 3.6 to 4.3 litres by a well known TVR engine builder. The engine comes with a reassuring 5 year 100,000 miles warranty.

Still running the engine in so I can't say too much about the performance at this stage but it should be good fun in the weeks to come.

It's my 2nd TVR and I can honestly say that despite the occasional issue, they are one of the best kept secrets in UK cars. Ridiculous performance owing to big power and half a tonne less weight that all the technology, 10 years of development in new car design and fancy gearboxes cannot overcome. Laugh out loud drives and all for a modest price compared to most equivalent drives.

I'd love a Tuscan, I've wanted one for years but just can't afford one at the moment. Beautiful car, well done!

You'll know more than me then about the 4.3's power! What's it like?! I'm still in running in mode!

That is gorgeous, and a great reg plate (though I am not normally into that sort of thing).

Hi
I met you when you picked the car up after the re-build.

Hi Si,
Great to meet your the other day, apologies if my mind was elsewhere and if I was a bit stressed, with the loss of the service book.
apparently the delivery driver is dropping it off today. Hopefully!
You're clearly a really lovely guy and your Red Tuscan sounded beautiful as we left!!!
