The first petrol station shot.
I'm not sure what to say really. It's a Vectra and it's not pristine. 167k miles on the clock. Any questions?
I'm going to sort through some more pictures I've taken
Positive things:
It drives almost like new
Engine makes a nice noise and has loads of history
No squeaks, creaks or rattles at all
Negative things:
Traction control light is on
ABS light is intermittently on (I think the traction control problem will be linked to this)
Engine light came on on my way home in it yesterday
Another light is on (lighting fault?) although all the lights seem to be working

While looking for a V6 Omega on eBay, this came up and I decided if it stayed cheap, I'd have it. The auction ended at £950 and it was mine!
It has lost its paint in a couple of places:

A few assorted photos coming up. Someone clearly decided to add a VXR badge and someone else badly removed both that and the V6 Turbo badging:
There are holes drilled in plastic surfaces in various parts of the car:
17" alloys just about fit over the brakes. It's very tight

What's happened to the Astra Turbo?
I have to say I enjoyed driving this Vectra yesterday. Really nice engine and very comfortable. I liked the handling too, but I think these are supposed to be better than a normal VectraWhat's happened to the Astra Turbo?
I still have the Astra, it's fault free but shabby. I'm deciding what to do - it seems a little pointless to have an Astra and a Vectra and parking on my street isn't great anyway

This one seems to have the VXR engine and brakes but not the CDC suspension. That said, it's the tightest, best controlled and nicest Vectra I've driven so I'm thinking the suspension must be better than standard some howexgtt said:

Before that I want to sort out the faults. The seller wasn't sure but thinks it might have a remap already but I'm not convinced yet. With the engine light showing I didn't want to push it
It's saying Insp 0 on the odometer - could the engine light just be because it is prompting for a service?
I'm going to read the faults when I'm home (I'm away for a few days) and go from there. I have a Tech 2 clone that isn't great for programming stuff, but works for fault finding. Also a good familiar Vauxhall specialist near work

I'm not sure what to do really, but I think in time I'll have to move the Astra one. I think I've got a friend who's interested in it but if anyone here is, let me know.
Anyway, update. I've dug my kit out and read the faults. The top light that looks like a light (if you get me) is indicating a fault with one of the level sensors for the headlamp levelling system.
The traction control light is due to the offside front wheel speed sensor
I cleared the engine and ABS faults and I've just been for a test drive and the faults haven't recurred. Huzzah!
So progress is being made
