Got this in October last year. 1,400kms on the clock from a dealership 300km up the coast. Traded in my previous Citroen DS3 Dsport.
Specs are:
Tech pack (keyless entry, adaptive cruise control, canton sound system)
Comfort Pack (leather seats, heated seats front and rear, folding mirrors)
19 inch black pack (19 inch black alloy wheels, black trim instead of chrome)
Auto tailgate
DSG,
Petrol
Great car. I don't drive everyday - work from home and the office is 1.5k away so I walk there if I don't need to go on site, but most trips I do are 150km+ return trips for work. So much more comfortable, and still great fun to drive for a medium sized wagon on more interesting roads.
Anyway, here's a pic from the day I got it.

Yep. I was trying to find a diesel to compare it with but hard to find in Oz. Petrol ones are much more common here. Just so competent. The only car that came close was the Volvo V60 T6 and that would have been 2 years old for the same price.
I prefer it to the mk6 Golf R I had 4 years ago.

Picked one of these up in 230 guise on Friday evening, in Steel Grey. Loving it so far ... 250 km on the clock now.
For the post about tank size, filling up on Fri., as the dealer gave it to us with fumes in the tank (!!), I squeezed ~43 litres in. OBC showed that to be good for 530km .... that's quite a difference from the diseasal version it replaced, where a tankful on autoroute use at 0.8 lepton would be good for 1,000km.

Can i ask how many miles you can do per a tank.At a PH cruise of 0.8-0.9 leptons. I did read these have "small" tanks
450 ish miles per tank depending on how I drive (mine is DSG as well). It has averaged 46.5mpg since I had it. Filling up from when the light is on is about 46/47 litres.RC1807 said:

The 230 would be nice. It was announced it was coming to Oz 3 days after I picked up mine. Grrr. That's annoying. Remap it?I expect ours will be in the next year or so, 300bhp is possible.
(We got an immense deal on ours ahead of the facelift version - only different front/rear lights, larger nav screen, I understand - which starts production about now)
Had mine for nearly 3 years now. Petrol, manual, estate, black pack, canton. It's been a fabulous car, no issues with it at all. Loads of space, big fast cruiser with enough dynamic ability to make you smile down a B road. Never get more than about 34mpg out of it, and that's driving it very carefully. Range is around 340/350 to a tank.
It's due for change this year (company car) and really don't know what to change it for.

Hi. I've got one of these but a diesel DSG. I wonder why I never bought one in the first instance as it is a good allrounder. Just gave the leather interior a good scrub this week and now it is back to good as new. I will miss the tow bar but that is on the to do list. I manage about 500 miles between refills. Not always driven at a sensible pace.

On the cards. Plus dsg map. I did my Golf R at around 15000k I expect ours will be in the next year or so, 300bhp is possible.

I have one also, very similar spec, had mine two years now, I have averaged 35mpg since I bought it but it will do 42-43mpg on a decent run, I drive it fairly hard most of the time and I always run it on v power. Nothing has gone wrong yet , had to put new front tyres on it at 12k but switching to Goodyear Eagles made a significant difference over the stock Conti's
I actually dyno'ed mine , totally stock on a fairly stingy dyno dynamics dyno and it made 242.3hp at the flywheel, so I wouldnt cry about the 230hp models as you'd never notice another 10hp , although the diff would be nice

I also found the stock Contis to wear very easily - 11k on the front only for the original set. My diesel manual estate is now 26k at 2 years old and needs a third set of front tyres, so the Goodyear Efficient Grips I changed them for weren't much better. I have the 19' wheels with P zero tyres. Not a huge pirelli fan, and had a sidewall lump after only 500kms which was just annoying.
Eagle Asyms will be on next.
