I didn't like the colour at all when these first came out but it's really grown on me over time.

That is nice. They're a proper little racing car and the full fat is the way to go. I don't regret selling mine but I certainly don't regret owning one for a short time. Glad you're enjoying it.

Hey

Um these cars aren't known for clutch issues and as far as I'm aware it's never been changed. The cam belt was done when I bought the car which was great but they cost a lot due to the parts I guess, also should always be done by a specialist. I've heard several stories of crap garages doing it and not getting the timing right so cars will lose power which is much needed in these haha

Very nice. I had the same spec in 2011 as a company car. It was superb.

So future plans i would love to do to my clio is:

Akrapovic evo exhaust
Cat cams
Remap
Bilstein B14 coilovers
Braided lines, fluid, pads

this is if i keep it long term and maybe a half cage and harness if i want a mini GT3 RS style!

Nice! My PA has a white Cup that she's selling - I did briefly consider it as a station car/weekend hack, but ruled it out.

FWIW I believe it's the labour time that makes the cambelt change 'expensive'. It's a relatively large engine in a small space so gaining access is time consuming.

Personally I don't think the cost is that bad given its once in a blue moon.

Lovely car OP. Best colour by far - can't believe they sold so few!

More details here, just select the date at the top. One of only 20 with Recaros by the looks of it too!

I had a Storm Grey, one of only 6 with Cup Spoiler and 1 of 16 with black roof.

Good motors, I was after an Alien Green one as a second motor but couldn't find a decent one and the only one for sale atm is the one from the Focus RS vs Clio 200 video where it's a good meter off the ground lol.
