Bought it on Monday past, picked it up this morning.

2004, just 51K miles with full dealer / specialist history, previous owner 4 years.

Spec includes leather, auto tiptronic, heated seats, parrot bluetooth fitted, heated seats, cruise, 6 disc in dash autochanger, etc.

This is the same 220BHP engine thats used in the Focus ST, only this one is mated to a tiptronic auto.

By lunchtime i'd done the following :-

=> Fitted K&N Filter element
=> Stage 1 Power upgrade to around 265BHP
=> Wheels cleaned with decent wheel cleaner (had gone a bit brown)
=> Parrot Bluetooth reattached to dash (had fallen off, but otherwise working perfectly)
=> New black fitted mats to replace the original but grotty pale grey ones.

All in all, well pleased with it. Rapid enough, and comfy for motorway cruising

Very subtle. Works well for us as very anonymous compared to the bright red A45 and the Boxster.

So it's a t5 then ?

The focus didnt get that engine until 06 (if memory serves).
What you might have is the 2.5t with 200bhp, also found in the s60 of the same age.
They only map to 230bhp (ish) because of the turbo size.

Either way it looks the part, rare to find one with so few miles. smile

As per Spruce Goose - no, its a 220BHP as standard. The engine that was subsequently used in the ST.

Nice car, I don't think I knew these existed. I really like how plain it is. Cars like that have always appealed to me.

Yes, thats exactly why i went for it. So anonymous and plain.

The only way you'd know is the exhaust up either side at the back and the little "T5" badge.

We wanted a car we can leave anywhere and not worry about too much. Well pleased.

It came running winter tyres, which suits me down to the ground as its my winter runner while the Porsche is tucked up in the garage.

BUT, it does leave an opportunity for the spring time. If i've to put on a set of (summer) tyres and the wheels need refurbed (which they do) then it could open the door for a set of upgraded rims for it. Man maths at work there, of course!

Nothing too fancy, maybe just even a set of the 18 inch Sport rims to keep with the stealthy look its got going.

Love it, cracking engines and this is my favourite colour. Best looking small saloon out there. Must go well with the remap, who did it and how much? Are these as thirsty as the ST?
