I started another thread , however i was having an issue uploading photo's.
So here goes , i acquired this car back in September 2016. It was the final days of Summer and made for a very rewarding drive home.
There allways is niggles and things that crop up when you purchase a used car , especially one that's French made and 26 years old.
The steering didn't seem too right , well not 205 gti right , also there was a lot of noise coming from the bulkhead....and no they don't all do it , not to that extent.
As time went on , i ironed out the issues , such as the wayward which came down to the floorpan flexing! Welding was added and to my disbelief eradicated the weird loading up of the steering mid corner , well i know non power steering loads up , however it's and even feeling.
Anyway , the car felt more like a 205 gti should , new Speedlines were purchased , new rubber for the front was purchased. You see , it needs grippy tyres due to the nature of what is installed under the bonnet.
A 406 Sri had been attacked and its engine had been professionally fitted with the correct mounts into my car. Along with a new EBC the car was dynoed at 197 Bhp @ 0.97 Bar. 255 ft pounds of torque helped certainly!
Any how there's been a few mod's on the way , new seat , wheel and other items. It is running very well , currently at the tuner's because the wee man knocked the settings on the boost controller.

I am looking to go back to a Type R EP3 , So i am on the lookout if anyone know's.
