98 spec JDM Integra
Discussion
Hi,
It's time to start another thread as I'm back in an Integra after approximately 10 years, I just couldn't keep away.
-98 spec CW with black interior, full fat version with ABS, Air Bags & AC.
- Cusco Coilovers (variant TBC)
- Spoon front and rear strut braces
- S2000 aerial
- Poor quality tint on the rear windows (to be removed asap)
Current plans:
- Remove the rear tints
- Fit new Honda badges
- Small mark on the front splitter to be repaired
- Adjust the hatch alignment
- Adjust the ride height (The rear is sitting too low)
- Rebush and alignment
- Underseal inside out
- Fit a Mugen Twin Loop cat back
- Fit a Mugen/Tegiwa induction kit

Regards
Harry

Very nice!
I never get tired of seeing Champ White DC2s
I'd love another, but it would be a 3rd or 4th car now and I currently don't have the time, space, or money for that
You must get one when convenient, I've had a number of cars since selling my previous example but there's always been an integra shaped void.I never get tired of seeing Champ White DC2s

Stunner. Have to admit I would love to drive one of these, have heard they are one of the best handling cars there are.

They are one of the rare affordable cars that feel genuinely 'exotic'. Even having got my first V8 TVR back in the summer (a car I've dreamed of owning for years), I still get pangs of jealousy when I see one go screaming past!
Everything about them comes together perfectly- the incredible engine, superb gearchange (with metal shifter), seat-on-the-floor driving position, and the fantastic Recaro bucket seats. And yes they go round corners rather well too

My lottery-win garage would always have to contain a DC2/ATR/EK9, maybe all 3!

I don't think I'd swap mine to be perfectly honest.
The DC2 really does tick all the boxes- & even when 100% standard. For a design that's ~20yrs old they really do still cut it in today's world of computer-guided offerings.
Light, precise, taught & a great soundtrack. A true drivers car.
I still think they are unrivalled as a sub 200bhp 'hot hatch'- though technically a coupé.
They are that good as stock that it's easier to make them worse IMO. Honda R&D really did do a superb job

I would definitely not go too mad modding, they look so good as they came from the factory.. they do respond very well to breathing mods though. I have a big tube PLM 4-2-1 manifold, no cat and a straight through silencer on my B18C engined kit car, the decat itself made quite a difference. A lot of people swap the ECU for a JDM one too as the map is supposedly slightly more aggressive but I think it's very minor. East to do though as the JDM one has no immobiliser.
