here we go again,

this is number 3. in my possession is a phase 1 1.6, phase 1.5 1.9 and this a 1993 1.9 with PAS/ABS & Catalytic converter.
its a stones throw off 130K miles, condition wise, it seems pretty good. parts have been painted and the match isnt perfect but overall its a nice car.

its mechanically sound, ill give it a good servicing this next coming weeks and check it over. interior wise it needs the seats looked at, the cloth has parted in a few places but its an easy fix.

i drove it nearly 80 odd miles home yesterday and it never missed a beat.7

its had 8 previous owners and it came with a serious serious amount of service history, invoices etc

its no show pony, i wasnt looking for one anyway, this is to drive a few days a week to work and to go the odd drive in at the weekend.

Love these little yokes. Owned one the exact same as this but with no sunroof and with MI16 engine.
Would love to buy another but they are becoming rare and expensive now

I couldn't tell you TBH. It was imported from UK to Ireland by the owner before me.
Love Peugeot hot hatches.
Had a 106 gti also when younger which I enjoyed on the twisties more than the 205.
106 seem to be hard to come by now also.

306 GTI/rallye was one I never had, I reckon they would be a blast,
have you ever had any other hot hatch?

Looks very nice in grey, I always preferred these late model 1.9"s with the PaS

No the one I had is the same colour as yours here.
Great little car to go but it was a bit unreliable as it was tuned up.
Saying that I wouldn't mind getting one again they were great fun.

Peugeot really got these cars right. I'm not generally a fan of hot hatches but the 205GTi is a real classic.

My mates Mum had a 1.9 when we were 17 back in the 80's and used to let him drive it. Of course he drove the nuts off it, quite amazing car back then. Still looks great today.

so, after a quick scrub on friday evening here are some photos i took on saturday, i think it looks 10x better and that was only a quick polish and a wax.

started with some APC and a soft brush

there was green moss in every nook and cranny

rinsed it then shampoo and rinse again

dried off and into the small garage for a bit of heat lol

starting to shine again

pulled it out on saturday when it was dry(ish) to see how it looked in daylight.

bit more respectable looking in my view, needs a few things sorted now over the coming weeks.

Looking more sorry for itself than the OP's, last time I saw it wink

Non-sunroof, 1.9 in steel grey would be a grail, I think!
