So I've gone for a bit of an upgrade from my last car
To this..
Got a bit lucky really as I got given it by a family member after they got a new car, and so far I have been loving it!
It is the 1.5 DCi Tekna model (Manual thank god!) and my first impressions are that, it is obviously a lot nicer to drive than the previous 1.0 Corsa. Everything from the gearbox, the clutch, the steering and even the way it doesn't make me sea sick like the Corsa would around corners.. It is also a bit quicker than I was expecting which is a nice surprise as I will be using the motorways a lot, and because of that the addition of a 6th gear and cruise control is also a luxury! I also like the way I can hear the turbo whistling away when I put my foot down, which can be pretty addictive
It is also cheaper to insure than the Corsa was which is strange considering I haven't been driving a year yet..
The interior is also so much nicer to be in, I have done about 150 miles over the past couple of days and I haven't been uncomfortable at all. In the Corsa I would of had to stop to stand up because it would just hurt my back after an hour or so.
Came standard with sat nav, reversing camera (Needed with the stupid C pillars), heated seats, bluetooth everything and a load of other stuff to distract me I haven't worked out yet
The dog also approves!
I'm just waiting to wake up one day and the Corsa is going to be back outside

They're unfairly slated IMO, they're half-decent to drive and as you say the Tekna is very well specified. I leased one for two years and did 50k miles in it with very few complaints, they're a grin to drive around town but not much good on challenging roads. Easy to drive, easy to park, easy to run.
Don't be tempted to remap it, the clutch/DMF won't put up with it for long.

Yeah when they first came out I hated the looks, but over time I have grown to slightly like them but now I own one I love it It just looks so different to other cars on the road, it's a really overly slated car imo.
One thing I will say is that it doesn't accommodate a tall person in the back very well due to the way the roof slopes down towards the back of the car, and the rear doors are quite small as well so you sort of fall out of them. None of that bothers me though, I'm not the one that's going to be sitting in the back

We've got a new '15 plate Juke, brilliant car and we've no complaints at all about it so far. It does everything we need it to do. We had a 64plate Aygo beforehand and it was a pain in the proverbial especially when our little girl came into the world. Trying to play tetris everythibg you needed to put the pram in the boot was a pain!

They have subtle changes which makes the car look a lot better imo. Which engine did you go for? The 1.2 engine they are offering now sounds quite interesting.

Nice, I like the facelifted models They have subtle changes which makes the car look a lot better imo. Which engine did you go for? The 1.2 engine they are offering now sounds quite interesting. Managed over 500 miles in a week, and I haven't been uncomfortable in the slightest. MPG is suffering slightly with my heavy right foot though

Over 1300 miles now and still haven't got a hint of arse ache. I have grown to slightly love this car, it just does everything I need it to and handles really really well for what it is whilst still returning at least 40mpg! I was following a Fiesta ST down some country roads the other day and had no problem keeping up in the corners but the ST soon f

This must be one of the only Jukes in the country with a black box installed in it as well.. Luckily my black box doesn't measure speed or anything and only activates in the event of a crash I'm pretty sure, so was worth getting it to keep insurance down which was cheaper than the 1.0 Corsa anyway.
Also been cleaning it way too much.. it's constantly shiny!
