Bastard, bastard, bastard.

Just when I'd got to the point where I was pretty confident that the Four could paste the Two, you replace it.....

Sounds good. No pics, no mod.

Less than 6mpg here over 3/4 of a tank at Brunters

Have to say Gaz I like the Supra a lot - Active Aero spoilers rate rather high on my cool board as well

Looking foward to seeing the pics!

I always say they're the poor man's Ferrari Maranello ('poor' being a relative concept here) - stonking fast front-engined beast that sounds like armageddon.

Still don't like the way it looks and if I had one I'd de-spoiler it, de-mirror the lights and choose a less 'gaping' front bib, but its power can't be disputed. Enjoy.

P.S. - pic of the wheels you're after?

I assume it's a Turbo model then ... manual or auto?

Nice cars. My kid brother wants one to replace his Corrolla GTi, but he can't quite afford a decent one and I'm stopping him buying a really cheap heap. He'll probably end up with a recent model 200sx.

Tell us more about the car when you get time.

No he doesn't although they're good cars. He wants something he can cart stuff around in, and he's extra tall like me so needs a bit of wiggle room.

When you turbocharge your X19, you will need to solve the same problem- how to get as much air in, and out of the engine bay as possible, and for that you need big ass vents, or expensive intercooling/charge cooling.

What I'd probably do is put some kinds of uprated air hoses through from the side vents, and similar hoses exiting through the engine cover. In fact, I could even prop it open, Abarth 500-style. Another thing I'd do is to try and replace the big chunky '80s bumpers with the nicer, slimmer ones from the pre-'77 cars.

But I'm getting ahead of myself here - I haven't even got the car and I'm beginning to have the odd second thought about whether I absolutely want it. It is everything I want right now, but the rust...
