Spent my 5 years at Leeds working away to get a piece of paper so I could afford an Evo or Skyline, however now I have used that piece of paper to good effect and saved up 25k with my job for a new car as my Vauxhall Vectra Supertouring is now defunked I have grown out of boy racerdom and into a Pistonhead. What to get though as I need something which will take 12k miles annually, with little trouble and goes like snot out of a sneezing bat out of hell.

Thoughts are
2002 BMW M3
2003 TVR T350
2001 TVR Tuscan
2002 Audi S3
2002/3 Golf R32

Would a TVR take that sort of mileage?
How bad is the depreciation with a TVR, as this will be my first v expensive car and I dont want to lose big money on it.

Currently head says M3 heart says T350.

I'd post this again in the General TVR forum and General Gassing.

You'll get a lot more people viewing your question there

I'd go M3 personally

Hi Mate or M12TGH?
Anyway.....Dont be put off by the Jap metal, as some of these cars will offer not only staggering peformance but also unrivalled reliability for your 12k per year.
Bodykits may not be everyones cup of Tea? but you can have some very sexy functional performance cars for that kind of money. Dont just but a German box and follow the heard!
Obviously this is all IMO and im not biased at all.

Above all else enjoy it and have fun.

S6 engine great but not as solid as you probably hope for, nobody here can guarantee it wont go pop,and TVR aren't usually rapid in getting it fixed. All new TVR's seem to drop alot. just check the classifieds
