your rs looks amazing, do you know anyone who is selling one in similar condition, i live in scotland, these cars are thin on the ground up here, willing to travel, unfortunately always seem to be late in receiving magazines in our neck of the woods.im a .rs enthusiast who has been searching for approx 2 years.if you hear anything perhaps you could let me know, many thanks.

I used to be in the RSOC and they had numerous RS Escorts in there for sale. But this was 10 years ago and I guess there are getting difficult to find. also try the classic car magazines there are quite a few specialists in there who may be able to help.

thanks phil i have tried numerous channels over the past two years including the rsoc, no joy, most of these cars are for sale in southern england where they seem to have survived better possibly due to better weather conditions? by the time we receive the magazines the good examples are either sold or whats left is not worth buying, ihave travelled many miles in mainland britain and have even been to ireland this year, but to no avail, someone please help.

The problem is that by now all the good cars are owned by real enthusiats (sp) who are not going to let them go. The poorly looked after examples will be long gone.
Not much help I know but keep looking one will turm up soon.

If you do find a good one down south, I'll offer to drive up to Scotland for you free of charge, I'm good like that.
